Seth McInteer is a Nashville, Tennessee native and founding member of McInteer & O’Rear PLC.  Seth’s law practice focuses on zealously representing individuals and businesses in civil litigation and disputes. 

 

Seth’s practice is truly diverse in terms of the nature of each matter, but generally involves contract disputes, general business litigation, real estate and construction transactions, partnership disputes and dissolution, business and real estate financing, negligence claims, property damage, trademark and copyright infringement, business torts, defamation, employment and non-competition agreements, and landlord-tenant issues.

 

While the majority of Seth’s practice is spent litigating and resolving disputes, the diversity of his practice has afforded him a unique ability to provide well-rounded general legal advice on a wide array of issues facing entrepreneurs, property investors, and small and mid-sized businesses.  Accordingly, Seth devotes a large amount of time to serving in a general counsel role for businesses, including real estate agencies, construction firms, web development firms, dental practices, and retail operations.

 

Seth graduated magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law, finishing in the top 10 % of his class and being inducted into the Order of the Coif honor society.  Seth earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Lipscomb University, graduating cum laude.  

 

Seth is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.  Since 2015, Seth has been selected and listed in the Super Lawyers® publications.  He has also been selected by his peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers® for the practice areas of Intellectual Property Litigation and Real Estate Law.

 

Seth served as a board member for the Nashville Independent Business Alliance and as a member of the leadership committee for the Chamber Midtown initiative of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.
